Therapy in Las Vegas (Central/Professional Districts), NV | Counselor Dama Perez
In the Las Vegas Central Professional Districts, many couples are balancing high-responsibility careers with relationships that feel increasingly fragile behind closed doors. Attorneys, healthcare professionals, first responders, and executives often carry intense daily pressure, and that stress does not stay at the office. I work with first-generation Latinas, professionals of color, and multicultural couples who feel emotionally disconnected yet still deeply invested in repair. Therapy centers culture, attachment-wounds, grief, and the emotional labor that often gets buried under performance and productivity.
For years, I have supported clients across the Las Vegas area who are navigating demanding schedules, public-facing roles, and private relational strain. In professional districts where success, composure, and reputation matter, many couples learn to manage crises at work while struggling to manage emotional distance at home. Life can look accomplished and stable on the outside while conversations inside the relationship feel tense, avoidant, or unresolved.
Beneath that high-functioning exterior, partners often wrestle with emotional-safety, cultural expectations, and generational patterns that reward endurance over vulnerability. In environments where strength is expected, softness can feel unsafe. Therapy in the Las Vegas Central Professional Districts becomes a grounded space to slow down, interrupt reactive relational-patterns, and rebuild connection that feels mutual, steady, and emotionally secure.

Ongoing, guided sessions with personalized homework, where we break unhelpful cycles, strengthen connection, and practice healthier ways of relating so your relationship feels more like a true partnership.

Couples Therapy
Couples Therapy is for partners in the Las Vegas Central Professional Districts who are high-performing in their careers but struggling to feel connected at home. You may both manage intense workloads, leadership roles, or public-facing responsibilities, yet find yourselves reactive, distant, or emotionally exhausted in your relationship. If you are searching for couples therapy near you because you want relief from constant tension without sacrificing your ambition, this space allows you to slow down and reconnect with intention.
Couples often begin to shift from performance and defensiveness toward emotional clarity. Instead of debating logistics or withdrawing after conflict, you start recognizing the fear, pressure, and unmet needs underneath the reaction. Communication becomes more direct and steady. Emotional safety gradually replaces guardedness. The relief comes from knowing your relationship does not have to compete with your career for attention.
In our sessions, we explore the relational patterns shaping your connection. We gently examine attachment wounds, cultural expectations, invisible emotional labor, and the impact of high-stress environments on intimacy. This local work creates space to interrupt reactive cycles and build connection that feels mutual, grounded, and sustainable.

In our virtual sessions across the Central Professional Districts and greater Las Vegas area, we explore the patterns influencing your identity, relationships, and work-life balance. This online space creates emotional safety and accessibility, allowing you to do deep work in a way that feels grounded, private, and sustainable.
Anxiety Therapy
Anxiety Therapy is for first-generation Latinas and professionals of color working in the Las Vegas Central Professional Districts who feel composed at work but internally overwhelmed. If you are searching for anxiety therapy near you but need discretion and flexibility, sessions are offered virtually throughout Las Vegas to fit demanding professional schedules.
Clients often begin to shift from constant performance mode and quiet panic toward emotional clarity and grounded steadiness. Instead of pushing through the anxiety, you start recognizing the attachment wounds, cultural expectations, and fear of failure shaping your stress responses. Your body gradually softens. Sleep improves. The relief comes from feeling regulated rather than constantly bracing for the next demand.
In our virtual sessions across Nevada, we explore the patterns fueling your anxiety. We gently examine perfectionism, high-responsibility stress, fear of disappointing others, and generational pressure to remain strong at all costs. This online space creates emotional safety and privacy, allowing you to do deep work in a way that feels accessible, steady, and sustainable.

If you are searching for premarital counseling near you and need discretion and flexibility, sessions are offered virtually throughout Las Vegas.
Couples often begin to shift from focusing on logistics and future plans to understanding the emotional patterns already shaping their connection. Instead of avoiding hard conversations, you start naming attachment dynamics, fears, and expectations with honesty. Communication becomes steadier. Emotional safety deepens. The relief comes from knowing you are choosing each other with awareness rather than pressure or assumption.
In our virtual sessions across Nevada, we explore communication styles, finances, intimacy, family boundaries, and long-term vision. Frequently asked questions
Can I use insurance for therapy?
I am currently an out-of-network provider. However, I can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. Many PPO plans offer partial reimbursement checks with your provider to confirm your benefits.
Do you offer a sliding scale?
Yes! I offer two sliding scale spots for clients with financial need. If cost is a concern, please reach out. I'm happy to discuss options during your consultation.
What does the therapy process look like?
We start with an intake session to explore your relationship history, communication patterns, and goals. From there, we’ll meet regularly to uncover deeper emotional patterns, build new tools for connection, and work toward the relationship you want to create. Therapy is always tailored to your unique story and pace.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule a session?
Life happens! I ask for at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or reschedules. Sessions canceled with less than 48 hours’ notice may be subject to the full session fee. No-shows or missed appointments without prior notice will be charged the full session rate, as that time is reserved specifically for you.
How does virtual therapy work?
Sessions are held through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. You’ll receive a private link before each session. All you need is a quiet and confidential space, a reliable internet connection, and a device with a camera and microphone.
What if I don’t feel like we’re a good fit?
It’s completely normal to wonder if therapy is the right match for you. Building trust and feeling comfortable with your therapist is essential for meaningful growth. If at any point you feel unsure about our connection or approach, please let me know. We can talk openly about it and decide together whether to adjust our work or explore other options. Your comfort and progress are my top priorities, and I’m here to support you every step of the way whether that means continuing together or helping you find the best path forward.
